Early Aiders® - first aid for children
Our Early Aiders® training is for training first aid to children. Aimed at schools and organisations dealing with early years children. Also suitable for first aid for older children.
Suggested duration of a children's first aid training course is 1-3 hours. It can be customised to fit in to your available time slots e.g. 2 hours or longer sessions of first aid training for children lasting 4, 5 or 6 hours (1 day).
We can cover the most relevant first aid skills for children for the age group and time available. These are suggested topics for teaching first aid in schools:
- Getting help
- Own safety
- Casualty checks
- Recovery position
- CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Choking
- Minor injuries - cuts, burns, stings, etc.
- Asthma and allergies
All attendees will receive a certifiate similar to this one: childrens first aid certificate.
